I didn't know he only wanted to sell radios. I thought he dealt with repairs. Well I just ended up buying a couple radios in the past two months. Maybe I'll try again in the future.

 

He hates working on radios that have been butchered by hack shops. He would prefer to sell you something new so that he has the Peace of Mind of knowing that it will last a long time. He does do repairs and he does a very good job at it but it's not his favorite thing to do.

 

I rest my case court is now adjourned ....

 

like I said you should never put yourself down.... this forum is just about opinions and possible solutions to various problems. taking things to seriously is ridiculous... calling yourself dumb or a redneck wasn't necessary... it's your opinions your entitled to them !

 

...and then there's days like today, with a plethora of ####ing morons and trolls inhabiting the airwaves, that makes me wonder why I have a radio at all.

 

that's everyday out here if your a otr driver... it's real simple to me if you don't have a radio out here during the winter I consider that person to be a idiot... things happen very very quickly in snowstorms/blizzards another driver might /could tell you something that could save your life.....!!!!!!!

 

I need to go somewhere and have a good long cry.....my magnum took a poop on me yesterday. I'm more than totally bummed out....

 

That's a very good point. I ponder that too. It is important to have a radio, but honestly, a cheap little CB radio and a cheap but decent antenna generally are enough to be safe on the road. Anything more is for your own entertainment, but much of the enjoyment does come from other radio users. When the band is either empty or filled with obnoxious people or people that don't want to hold a conversation, it seems like a waste to have invested in such nice equipment.

 

it's to each his own...it's a hobby for me... nothing more.. but when I have something to say usually to one of the fools that have been talked about on here. trust me they hear what I have to say.....called freedom of speech #### em
