Well if you ask me the 1 time customer is not as valuable as a return customer..Just cause a fella asks questions to decide where or when or how much he spends shouldnt be facterd in as a waste of time..No business man should be doin bs like that cause he dont know is on the other side of the key board make that decision...Could be competition and it could be a fleet manager of a trucking company...So if you ask me based on what i see here its poor business..
bored silly and rabbiporkchop Thank this. -

I didnt want names out but to late now..All concerned were people i talked with myself..
I didnt plan on outing anyone but i just wanted to see if i was the only one or if there were more than me..
This basically started with the chat about the 127 db down floor recieve deal..
I just needed an understanding of its value to which myself and others dont seem to be getting results from.. -
A lower floor is better , it really is , it's like the internets , you don't really have to understand how , just believe .
A lower floor also makes the radio much more quieter so it seems like it isn't working as good as before because it's so quiet . It really is working better. Perhaps the other trucks antennas setup should be checked .
Radios aren't 't like people , they don't have opinions or bi-polar issues, specs are specs, good specs are better . It's like cubic inches, ain't no substitute .Ougigoug, rabbiporkchop and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
How many use squelch?
How many have antenna problems?
How many have inverters turned on?
How many have phone chargers plugged in?
How many have tried those radios in a car with the engine turned off and listened to people talking for an hour to give someone the opportunity to travel 30 miles west to 30 miles east of you?
How many of those drivers expect the radio to perform miracles and compensate for a bad antenna system or be impervious to noise from a squarewave inverter?
None of those issues were addressed.
Opinions mean nothing. Facts mean everything. Remember what you said to Mark after begging him to take your radio against his instincts as he talked on your overmodulated splatterbox?
You had an opportunity to hear your own radio.
You didn't like what you heard. You said bad things about Chris. You called him a hack. Now you are kissing his ### and calling Chris Holland a radio god. Why the flip flop? -
rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

And yes you are correct when people make assumptions it makes an ### out of both of us
