If they see a trashed out truck with fenders falling off and missing bumpers, keep your filing cabinet scattered all over your dashboard along with last nights meal wrappers, you may be a redneck.

 

I would need to find the ticket when i got home for the exact regulation since its been a couple years. But it was something about incorrect/damaged airline end fitting. But yea the lady there was one of those nose in the air hags. Hell she first tried to get me for not having a correct DoT fire extinguisher, Which i do have mounted to the inside of my sleeper door. And the door exterior has the required fire extinguisher inside text on it at the correct size. This because she found the oversized class B one i kept mounted on my old trailer incase of a hydraulic oil fire and more or less refused to look in my sleeper until her co worker opened my sleeper door to shut me up....which is why she got extremely prissy.

Took almost 4 hours for me to get cut loose. Hell she even raised a fuss about the bad tire i had in my spare rack i was taking home to add to my shooting range project (tires full of sand burried by more sand and clay for a shot stop) but couldnt find a good regulation to nail me on.
