My in laws always do the Packers/Bears game around Christmas.

 

Marshfield has a nice movie theater, and I liked the 2 taxi drivers that I rode with.

 

I grew up in Oshkosh (WI) and of course that was waaay before ticket brokers and the Internet...it was always a bummer to never be able to see your home team play, could see them only on the TV. And this was during a multi-year stretch where they were 1-15 each year and every game was STILL sold out. Left me with a lasting impression, I guess.

 

You can probably get your AK cdl a permit and then go to rdtc, Wisconsin will accept it for your roadtest and issue a Wisconsin cdla . You can do that while staying in a hotel for class. Unless they have changed things in the past few years.

 

That's still how it works. They'll let you use the hotel address as your physical address while you're in school.

 

When I was at RDTC in February, they actually gave us each a letter (on Roehl letterhead) vouching that our current address was the hotel, so we could have that with us when we went down to the DOT office to get our licenses.

 

After you get your WI license do you have to switch it back to the state you live in or can you switch to another state?
