So I'm confused. Walmart wanted him to move the truck off of their lot. So when the police arrived he moved the truck like Walmart wanted. So why did they chase him ?

I was thinking the same thing. The driver probably already knew when he saw the cops what the deal was so he just went on his way. I guess the police there really wanted to have that conversation where they simply say "Walmart wants your truck off their property" so they could document it in their report. Police probably get really angry when they have to respond to calls like that.

He was sleeping off a drunk and didn't want to move. Always a bad idea to drink when out there otr doing the job. There's really no such thing as off duty when you're trucking. I like to crack open some cold ones but I never do it when I'm in the truck out there. Wouldn't even do it on a 34 on the rare occasions i did one otr.
