Marten Transport 2016

Thanks for the reply. Anyone have any info about Marten in the NW area?

 

I worked for marten a year and a half with safety bonuses monthly and safety certificate after 1 year for good sevice.I had a weather related accident on March 1st and was not ticketed.My mvr is clean and psp score excellent.Marten fired me and put a negative statement on my DAC report preventing me from finding amother job with other carrier's ,I asked marten to change what they wrote and was told by human resources they don't care about my situation and they are leaving it on my record for years.If you like your DAC record than DO NOT WORK FOR MATEN.They could care less about you.Find another carrier.

 

so you crashed a truck in bad weather and are upset they put it on your DAC. Seems like a legit report.

 

Looks to be legit! I personalyy stopped by the terminal in Wilsonvile and chatted with a couple of the current employees and a driver. I really think running out of this terminal will be great!

 

I want to go with Marten but am worried I won't get enough miles each week. Anyone know if they get good miles OTR?

 

I worked here for about 4 weeks had to go back to LTL company but I can say the 4 weeks I was there they will mile you up and super nice people to work for

 

BIG MISTAKE going to work here. ALREADY leaving, what a joke, no personality disrespect drivers. If you think you can run all 48 think again, especially out west you can call I-5 home. Thats not what i signed on for.

 

That sucks to hear! Ive talked to drivers that say Marten runs there bottoms off if you want the miles...Of course. I really want to go with Marten but not sure whats holding me back mentally...
