Do they have a cap on the detention? If your stuck there say 18 hours?

 

When i was with marten a few years ago drivers had no choice but to go on per diem. And they charged the driver .2 or .3 cpm for 'adminstration fees' on the per diem.

 

Schneider does that, but you are given the option.

 

Am I missing something?

0-6 month drivers get 28 cpm for long hauls?
Swift honestly has a more attractive pay scale.

 

Yeah, no option at marten when i was there 3 years ago.

I see some of the same drivers come in and out of our DC. I don't think they do that many outgoing, they bring more in. But I see some of them posted up there overnight sometimes.
