lol how hard is to remember Marten and Martin? We had our guy hook up to one of Martin Refrigarated Services empty trailer here in Walmart DC, he drove to the gate and back, looking like a 5 year old that can't match ####ing pictures

I've been driving a truck for a long time. I never hooked up to another company's trailer by mistake. That's brain dead kind of stuff. I do know which companies to avoid driving for. I also know which ones to keep a sharp eye on when I see one driving near me. Marten or Martin are both on my long list of companies to avoid under either circumstance.

So after 1 1/2 months of driving my KW, the company sold it so as of yesterday it's been officially retired. Brought it to company headquarters in Mondovi,Wisconsin (nice quiet town, friendly folks) and got put in a new 2016 Freightliner Cascadia Evolution I with the Detroit Integrated powertrain(DD 15 engine/DT12 AMT). Only 108K miles on the clock and I even like the color (dark blue). Like the old Cascadia I drove when I worked for WE this truck has plenty of storage space, and then some. Drove it downtown Mondovi to get something to eat and the truck was very quiet- a far cry from the KW(and a very welcome improvement).

8 1/2 months in and I'm currently on my longest run EVER since I've started driving. Walmart run (money)going from Illinois to California (more money) with a stop in Missouri (even more money). Add the fact that I'm running New Years Eve,New Years Day and the day after and I qualify for holiday pay and it's KACHING!!!!$$$$$
I racked up 200 empty miles just looking for a trailer, loaded it's going to be 2011 miles.
I think I just paid off my credit card bill with this run.:p
