Are all positions regional? I see one post saying all loads are 500-1000 miles yet another driver posting 2000+ mile loads. Considering OTR refer. Also hesitate due to per diem. Can anyone estimate difference between actual annual income and taxable income?

 

OTR tends to get shafted here. Regional is the best way to go

 

I still don't understand that per diem whatever average crap

 

From what I understand a percentage of your income currently is per diem. What that means is your taxable income is actually lower than your actual income. So when you go for a loan or a mortgage of some kind they will ask what your taxable income is, that is the number that they will accept as income not the dollars you actually received over the previous 12 months..
