    Rites are what people perform.
I think rights is the word you were searching for.

dan blair was my "team leader" and when i had the problem with R/B he said it was not his dept and that he could not help me but i still yet got fired. your right dan blair only does what he wants to do and gives info only on need to know basis.

You know what's REALLY funny? I got an over axle ticket for Marten (not to me for some reason) on a load of boxed turkey parts (I assume for turkey bologna) going to Patrick Cudahy in Cudahy, WI. It wasn't overaxle at the shipper, it was perfectly legal (I have the wgt rcpt to prove it). Virginia thought it was okay (green light at scale), Kentucky thought it was okay (green light), Indiana too. Most importantly, the scale on US 41 north of chicago thought it was okay too, cuz they gave me the green light to leave. But the scale in Wisconsin said I was 440 lbs over on my drives. I had LESS fuel on by then, than I'd had when I picked the load up, so THAT didn't add the weight. The load didn't shift in transport, cuz it looked exactly the same when I opened the door as it did when I closed and sealed them. So that didn't change the weight... hmm. If I'd gotten past that scale, I would have been 90 minutes early. Instead I was two hours late. So, 4th service failure in 4 years (circumstances beyond my control), plus logbook warning (forgot to start it that day, simple human error), plus overaxle ticket equals fired three weeks later. Was I set up for failure? Did I fall victim to some kind of con-job? Funny how the ticket was written directly to marten, and not to me. I thought the driver was supposed to be responsible for stuff like that. Even with the wieght receipt from the shipper, the scale master wouldn't listen AT ALL. Hmm...

Kabar, YOU sir, are either an office employee, or the world's BIGGEST bootlicking toady. Possibly one of Randy's paid snitches and forum trolls? I like how you LIE about how many miles you're getting, when E LOGS have been in use there since your last bragging post. The miles you're claiming are IMPOSSIBLE without electronic hacking of the logbook. If you ARE getting preplans like that, and being taken care of like that... then you obviously ARE a paid snitch and troll for Randy. Marten Transport can suck a fart out of my ### before I EVER work for them again. I'll go push a mop at Mc Donald's and make more money than I did my last year there. I sure wouldn't mind hearing that a meteorite crashed down from space and blasted a crater half a mile wide on Marten Street just south of US 10. :biggrin_2559:

Theater Arts? Not hardly...lol but if you're gonna criticize someone for their "English" skills you should maybe have a grasp on them yourself, otherwise you end up the fool. Just Sayin...

1st this is not 1 on 1 or the QC it is a forum with many readers. If you write like a back woods hick from Missouri then people take you as a back woods hick. 2nd short hand is not used because not all readers can read it. You don't have to be perfect but you do have to write in English.

1st you will hear that about every company there is that "It was a great company when so and so owned it" Times change, you deal with it or move on. 2nd every company with some one smart is doing that just like they are dumping the bad drivers and hiring as many good ones as they can. Those who don't will be left in the cold when the freight picks up and the new regulations go in. Business 101, you are ether prepared for the coming times ( buying trucks and hiring drivers) or you play catch up while others are hauling the freight.

I should be offended by what you said EXCEPT you just stated why they fired you ( you suck as a driver ) and I take the postings of a young wannabe with limited experience for what it is worth. Not much.

So lets correct things. 1st any one who can't run at 65 mph with an e-log and get 3000 a week ether sucks as a driver or needs to spend far less time screwing off in the truck stops. 2nd not all of Marten has e-logs yet and some will never have it. They are not putting it in the trucks that will be traded in in the next 12-18 months.

So before you go sounding like a rooky, Check you facts.

Oh one last thing, WTH where you doing on us41:biggrin_2556: You should have been on 94 or 90 and you would not have been stopped or been late. The scales on us 41 are much tougher because they do not want the trucks on that road. Stay on the freeways.
