Wow, this sure got spirited, and thanks for the mods keeping it open. Naturally, in America, if it doesn't affect us personally, it must be BS. Clearly it's real, just HOW real, guess we'll leave that to the history books. I'm tending to sway more towards the BS end, the money making side, healthcare in the US is THE biggest ripoff, 2nd to, and hand in hand with lawyers, but if Fl. had it's biggest one day increase so far,, SO FAR, and they are opening up DisneyWorld?? Really? Obviously, monetarily, they just can't stay closed any longer, and are willing to throw caution to the wind for it. We'll just have to play along. People refusing to wear a mask, come on, is the embarrassment of being turned away, ( and not getting what you need) more important? To show how silly it is , I have a crumpled up POS mask in my pocket that I put on, full of germs, no doubt, but it gets me in the door and keeps the crybabies off my back. I think,,,,people will realize, this had more internet paranoia than real facts, and this shows what happens.

 

We are walking a fine line between Covid 19 and a full economic collapse due to restrictions. I can't even begin to have an opinion on this, but hope they are able to figure out this balancing act before disaster strikes one way or the other.

 

There's no reason to close the thread. All we have so far is a couple of guys who don't agree on something and they're airing their opinions.
As long as they don't resort to personal insults, trolling, or totally hijacking the thread for their argument the thread can stay open.

 

Colorado was forced to revise their numbers back in June, lowering by 200 the number of Covid deaths after the Montezuma County coroner refused to play ball. Anyone who died with Covid in their system, they listed that as the cause, in the Montezuma case, the deceased died of alcohol poisoning, though he was positive for Covid. The state said to list COD as Covid when it wasn't, coroner went public with it, the media latched on it, 5 days later our moron Gov. was forced to order the change.

Alright. There's something at least. The problem we have is that little mistakes, or the appearance of mistakes made by bad inference, can cause doubt. It doesn't mean we don't have a huge problem.
