Maybe I’ve already had it. For certain I’ve been in contact with many that have.

I do my best to stay safe, but I don’t live in fear. Life is too short.

Yes. Bill Nye giving a practical demonstration of how the masks restrict airflow from the mouth enough to no be able to extinguish a candle from a foot away. He also espouses the correct information that the masks are not necessarily to protect you from catching it, but to prevent you from spreading it.

You don't have to live in fear to be aware of what is going on right now. This is serious. I had rather die in a head on than to suffer for 3 months with this crap. Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there. Now there are times I don't wear my mask into places. It's lax where I live, more country than city. Still, I keep my distance, and as soon as I get back to my car I use my hand sanitizer. You can mix up a bottle of plain alcohol (about 70%) with water and spray your truck every so often. Especially after being in the shop.

Are you going to live in this same fear come flu season? Flu this year is going to kill 100+k because everybodys immune system hasn't seen a bug in 8 months. Of course they'll probably all be called Covid deaths.

The issue is, as always, that Covid is much more deadly, and even if it doesn't kill you it half kills you with symptoms that hospitalize you. With so many people requiring ICU care it's overwhelmed and more people die as a result, both from Covid and other things requiring ICU beds that are no longer available. The flu can knock you for a loop for a week, but you can fend it off at home for the most part. Also I believe Covid still has a 10x higher mortality rate than the flu.

I know one person who has had, he said it's a 3 day flu bug. I know a bunch of people who think they had it said the same thing. There's a lot of people where my mothers family lives in northwest Iowa have had it and none of them have died, it's not the death sentence you've been led to believe it is.

Of course. Third hand anecdotal evidence. That surely trumps research by professionals. Right now it's better safe than sorry.

Yeah I know people that has been in car accidents and haven't died so I will assume NOBODY dies in an accident <---Your logic. This is mind blowing stupid.

Please don't reproduce or keep meeting everybody you know with no mask and good luck with covid.
