good luck with them, they don't seem to care about the condition of the owners equip, and the way the ration fuel is ridiculous

yep, left there , went to mercer. and dont think if you lease on with one division you can transfer to another of the sister companies. and if they promise something, make em put it in writing. or better yet , stock up on vaseline

I couldn't make any money with MDII. I worked for 2 weeks at the Dallas terminal and i quit after my first settlement. $480 after fuel, and that was for a full week. The next settlement was a $825. No way in hell i could make a tractor payment and still have some money to live on like that. I liked the home time tho. Home everyday off every weekend.

I worked MDII Intermodal division...

Been with them for about a year, had two trucks on with them, pulled one. Always something, when they o you there slow to give, when you o them there quick to take. There also trying to push this E-logs, news flash folks, you still need copy's for this for tax write offs at end of the year to prove how many days out you were. Truck driver in Penn just got I.R.S on him to prove he was out didn't have them. You can guess the outcome of all this. Point, for all of you on these things, still need copy.
-
You should print off every day anyways. How else would you provide last 7 days to the officer?
this company is now called universal intermodal services as of January. -
I was with Universal for a while. I had a sweet deal going for a while, and then two agents got into a piss fight and ended my little gig. IMO, you can do much better (Landstar is where I'm at but I think Mercer would be good to look at)
-
I've been with them for two years doing a local gig. It's not bad if you get the good freight.
