Marstrucking, we all have our own opinion about MDixon. I can personally tell you that I spent over a year with them, ( 3/2012 to 6/2013 ) I don't know what kind of equipment that you have or you are renting one of their trailers. I own my truck and Doonan Low Pro Step.. and out of 15 months , I had ( 1 ) 3pp load. The rest was cheap brokered loads, Their CSA scores are so bad that you can't buy a DOT Prepass.. They Screw you out of fuel surcharge.. according to what they say. They will give you 25 percent fuel charge on a direct shipper load or 3pp load, and 15 percent for a broker load..They have less than 10 percent actual direct shipper freight . also their way of figuring percentages is set up to cheat you out of cash.. Do the Math as you were taught in School.. not even close.. Their agents are DAT load board kings and queens.. ( agent 1189 ) do they ring a bell. Also many of their agents are multi agents, and will book a load thru 1 company , take money off the top , then run it thru MDIXON.. I know several agents that does this every day.. Their agents will also cut the rates from another agent on a load, I have had this happen numerous times..
They are also famous for weeks after you pick up and deliver a load, and ZERO damages, Then you will get a email that the broker either refused to pay the rate agreement amount or short pay. ( Which Is 100 percent ILLEGAL ) MDixon will back charge you !! Instead of going after the BS: Broker.
3 weeks ago, I unloaded in Denver, Co with a Universal driver and his wife.( super nice folks ) we went to the T/A there in Commerce city/ Denver .. I personally watched him scan his trip in, 2 1/2 days later he finally got paid, He told me that he did not know what was going on, but this is a large problem for him and others that he know... I'm paid within 3 hours... on every load !

I could go on and on.. But this last week , I was served papers by the sheriffs office , They are trying to sue me for the back charges that I mentioned above. I sent the paper work over to my attorney, His firm is looking forward to taking on Mason Dixon..

you must have been dealing with crappy terminals as every company has them. i dont care if its broker freight direct or not i care about the $$$$ and driver happiness and so far this week my 2 trucks averaged 2.25 on all miles no tarp out to nm and tx and back. i always get at least $3mi or more with this outfit. never could have the flexibility with this company as i so called could with landstar mercer, etc. never seen any driver hit what i hit so far. im always over 6000 a wk usually around 7000 on 2500miles. good luck to u tho. o 1181 is correct crappy terminal not 1189
