    you the driver controls the truck its up to you to make sure that your load is secure.don't listen to anyone unless you trust them,or in case its the customer . better to be safe then sorry, securing of your load,driving habits during seasonal weather.

    take your time enjoy life and trucking it is rewarding.

    I actually use a similar phrase, "Captain of the Ship". told many a dispatcher when weather got bad,me as the Captain of this ship, shut it down. my decision, my ticket and/or life. never had too big a problem with it.

    it does actually apply ,when you think about the legalities of who is responsible in the end. that includes bald tires, lites, ect.
