MATS 2012

Thanks Rob. He was 91 and had full blown Alzheimer's, so it was sort of a blessing. Not trying to crap on your MATS thread though.

Met alot of people from the forums and made alot of new friends this year at MATS. It has been the best visit to MATS ever.

We even had a the First Annual MATS 9+ mpg meeting in the Papa Johns Parking Lot with guest from MicroBlue joining us for some free food and fun as usual.

Thank you to the great group of people camping in the Papa Johns Parking Lot for cooking for anybody that wanted to eat. The fellowship amoungst truckers was great. The Papa Johns party after the show makes it worth the trip even more.

 

Never been there. Hard to imagine a pizza joint could hold as many people camping out as say they are. I would assume there's generators running and exhaust fumes and urine smell in the air.

I'll be listening to birds singing, breathing country air and admiring the blooming redbuds and dogwoods.

 

Heading into Columbus Oh early Saturday morning, I've rented a car and am leaving my "big car", should be in Lousiville by noon.......THEN ITS ON!

I ordered some LED lights on the internet last week and called to see why I hadn't heard from them and the lady says the guy is at Louisville. I ask what company name he's using there. He is the "seat doctor". Didn't ask what booth number.
I hope he ships my stuff on Monday.

 

MATS was great. Didn't even waste my time trying to go on Saturday. Also glad to hear the caught the guy cutting tires at Papa Johns. Would love to know the reason other than he is an idiot.

Meet with the guy from True Test. I gave him information about this forum and hope he joins.

Lots of great new programs to offer our drivers and others that will allow us to reduce our costs. Already booking B&B for next year.
