Not anymore. Companies are going belly-up left and right and flooding the auctions with used trucks. More used = less pressure on new trucks.

For reference, the latest truck we ordered was an O/O spec Cascadia double bunk condo at just under $170k. And we're not that big.

Geez. This company should rename to Doormat Express. I wonder how some of these companies sell folks to sign on there. Where did your husband drive for 30 years and managed to avoid Dallas?

To be fair we’ve had drivers say they driven for about the same amount of time (sometimes more, sometimes less) and they’ve never driven to the northeast.;)
For the same amount of money you could get 2 used Volvos with about the same amount of miles or less!

Let me see if I have this right. You get an anonymous post from someone on FB, touting a L/P, and you jump in with both feet, not doing any research? What's wrong with this picture? Care to elaborate?

If I've learned anything from watching reality TV shows is that anyone could ask for whatever they want in terms of sale price. The big question is: are there any bites at that asking price?

At $200K, he'll be sitting on those for a minute. Or maybe that's the "I don't really want to sell these trucks, but if someone will buy them at this price, be my guest..."

    DRTDEVL Thanks this.

Are either of these trucks still available? I’m 6’3” and will buy my own plane ticket. I don’t have FB so I usually miss out on these incredible deals.

I myself own a trucking business and have been driving for 20 years so I know this is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

lmao no one said it was except for you. You need to pay attention to what is the point brought up in the conversation which will help you lmao. Read again slowly how the point was the price of a Peterbuilt 389.
