Mattress choices

Sleepdog will custom make to size you want. Had mates for last truck custom made by them, yes you'll pay more for a custom mattress, think last one was almost $800

 

Whatever you do, don’t buy one from a truck stop! They are pricey and really not good quality. I bought mine online from Walmart ($155 with tax), and it got delivered for free to my nearest Walmart store. Mine is an 8-inch gel memory foam mattress from “Modern Sleep Cool Gel.” Not sure if that is a good brand, but I loved the mattress. It is way much better than the junk I had. I got tired of feeling the coils in the old mattress!

 

I bought a serta mattress from Walmart it was shipped to them. Cost $300 twin xl. It is a little hard I put a comforter over it. But a 1000 times better than my previous stock mattress. Took two weeks.

 

? Why not just get a nice mattress from a bed store ?

Like a tempurpedic if possible. We got a comforpedic from sleepys after needing a place to park on Long Island. Went in to smooth things over with them to park for a few hours, was browsing around and actually got a decent deal and got it. This was when the comforpedic cost more than the tempurpedic.

 

Its like 150 more than online.

 

Buddy with bad back went to his normal bed store and bought his normal bed in the right size for the truck

 

I would do the same but my bed size is only 30” wide. I guess custom is the only way.
