    What is a trans fleet manager? I know Maverick has Fleet Managers that work only with students until said student is ready and then they assign them a permanent Fleet Manager but I have never heard of them being called trans Fleet Managers. I also know one of the student Fleet Managers and he goes out of his way to help. Sure sounds to me like you need to put the blame where it really lies.

    What, exactly did you think I was saying? Because I honestly can't tell if you quoted the wrong person, except for pointing out my experience.

    Let me clear it up:

    Home every weekend is not equal to home the entire weekend.

    That's what "!=" means.

    That's not an observation that requires 20 years to make.

    Well, partly it's my bad. I regularly post on another forum where "!=" gets used a lot, and i tend to forget that it comes from programming language, and that not nearly everybody knows what it means.

    Internet shorthand strikes again.

    I'm going to be looking at OTR as the same thing as being in the military. You get assigned and won't come home till you have the chance.

    Besides, I worked in the office environment and I can't stand those people. Too much politics and too much BS. I don't think there is anywhere left for me to go, but in a truck all by my lonesome LOL!

    he's talking about a transitional fleet manager, it's your FM for your
    first few weeks before being handed off to a permanent FM. this is for the student drivers after leaving trainer trucks for their own truck.
    I know for a fact, if you couldn't get along with Charlie, the problem is most definatly you.

    The biggest problem I see is that he never used a period in that whole sentence.

    It seems that a lot of the newer drivers are having issues.
    All I can say that in 8 months I have been home or through the house all but two weekends...and that is what they tell you...home of through the house.
    I have no problem making my delivery by 10 every Monday. As yes I have hours to drive...duh! You plan so you will make your delivery and then go for your next pick up and then off until you run out of hours.
    I have been getting over 2500 miles a week. Do not know what your issues are but I really do not have any. None of the drivers that I have been running into have any either...so I do not know what to tell you.
    As far as worship maverick...no...but I do think they are one of the better companies out there.

    notarps4me and sewerman Thank this.
