Maverick Driver general bs thread

Thought it would be good to have a general bs thread that has nothing to do with training or orientation. Just a what are ya doin today or whats makin ya mad today type thread.

 

What aggravates me today is newbie gettin caught in a lie then refusing to back off that lie and instead insult me for calling them on it! Whats up with that? On the bright side Im back in warmer weather today after spending a couple days in the frigid north.

 

Think you misunderstood. Maverick is a great company,this is just a general bs thread like I stated above.

 

Yeah a driver I come across yesterday. It aggravates me to catch someone lying period but it really gets under my skin when they know they've been caught and still contunue to say they arent lying. Ok whatever lol.
Had a great day goin yesterday til I got to Woodburn Ky and RJ Corman. Took over 4hrs to get loaded so any chance of unloading today flew right out the window. I can however deliver tomorrow so Im hoping to get a reload.
Have any of you seen the propane injected trucks? Heard about them but havent seen them.

 

Well bummer. Left the NLR yard and traveled to the flyin hook near Texarkana,pulled into fuel island got fuel them TRIED to start my truck. Starter quit on me. Spinning but wont jump out to engage flywheel,grrr. Why couldnt it have done this while I was in NLR lol. Too convienent I guess. Welcome to trucking

 

Tow truck comin to pull start me as I have a delivery tomorrow so I cant wait til the morning for him to procure a new starter. I'll just have to remind myself not to turn the key off. Luckily I dont load til monday so I should be able to find someone to replace starter by then.
