How?
I turn on the cruise and hit resume. It then goes from 550RPM to 900RPM. I've tried using the pedal to raise it to 750RPM and then hit SET, but it just goes right back to 900RPM.

This is why I think it would have been smarter on Mavericks part to have installed a tripac type of apu. In states like NY,CA,or PA you cant idle more than 5-15min without getting a fine. So if you get hung out in one fo these states, which I have in the past<you are risking a ticket idling for two hours to recharge your batteries. NY in particular has a hard on for this type of ticket. I watched a cop periodically circlethe parking lot in the Pilot in Syracuse a couple years ago and wriote tickets for trucks that were still idling past the limit. That was a stiff fine, over $300!!

I've idled plenty in NY,NJ,PA. I have never once been approached by a cop about it. I've done a 34 hr reset in that Pilot in Syracuse, NY before and idled the entire time because it was in the 80s all weekend. Not a word from the cops about it. There's signs all over in pretty much every truck stop in the NE saying no idling, but I've never seen a cop drive through and actually enforce it.
I've also spent several nights in the Petro in Bordentown, NJ and they have cops patrolling through there all the time. At least 50% of the trucks in there are idling and they don't even think about writing tickets. They could be there all day just collecting fines if they wanted to.
PA also has a part in the law that says you can idle if the truck has the CARB sticker on it. Don't know about the rest of the NE though.
I do agree though that a real Tri-Pac APU would've been a better investment than the battery version they chose. -
I use to idle the '07 whenever I was up NE and never had problems. Stayed the night at a rest area in NY once and when I woke up the next morning they had set up a dot check point there. They never said anything.

So I think somethign messed up in their system. Here's the numbers I got for the fuel message:
Tariff Miles: 1640
Tariff MPG: 4.29
Hub Miles: 100,588
Hub MPG: 63.181
OOR miles: 98,948
How the hell did I manage to drive 100,000 miles in a week? Apparently I'm doing laps around the whole planet.
My truck would have to be doing well in excess of 2,000mph for me to cover 20k miles a day without violating HOS. Oh well, I got 63 MPG doing it too. I do believe that has to be some kind of record right there.
I might just have to give them a call and see what broke to come up with those numbers. I also know I did much better than 4.29mpg. -
Just reset the parameters. That is the total since the truck was "born". You can do it from the dash.
{A man is only as good as his word.} -
No, those numbers aren't off the dash. We get sent a QC message with our OOR/fuel mileage info. I'm well aware of how the dash display on a Cascadia works.

You dont have enough time for the computer yet hence the weird numbers

Does maverick require a TWIC card or will they have you get one once you have been hired? It doesn't mention it on the website, however, it has been brought up several times in the threads but none of them mentioned a "requirement"
-
You do not need a TWIC to start training. Maverick will route you through Madison or Little Rock some day to get one. Took them a year to catch up with me. Now I have one but still don't "need" one.
MtDewMan Thanks this.
