cant agree more and the trailer drop/ trailer swap macro that's in testing.....LOOK OUT LAZY ARSES. even as qcom efficient as I am, you get two macros after you put in your leaving shipper....THATS RIGHT L.A.s out there and the fields are MANDATORY... that means YOU HAVE TO FILL THEM OUT. So long story short, leaving shipper and the 2 macros that are filled out. 1 on the trailer you picked up, and one on the trailer you dropped. 18 minutes! The enforcement part of it, dunno yet other than part of the new PFP. (would be a points deduction)

    @ Sewerman

Like Slick Willy so famously said "I feel your pain"

Last Friday I did a load swap to get a guy home who was on his first week solo. Worked out great for him. I spent the night in a rest stop and missed my wife's birthday. On top of that the tag light was out and trailer was missing lumber. Monday I went through Madison and took care of the issues. After I got unloaded on Monday I get a call from FM "asking" if I would re-power a load going to Chicago. I say sure and end up with two crap tarps and missing lumber again. Friday I take time out of my 14 hour clock to run by Madison again to get a trailer up to speed.

I hope, as Sarge has suggested, these situations will have a negative impact on a drivers PFP. But once again why use the stick? A caret would give the driver doing the right thing a point or two.

I hope they find a reasonable solution to this issue as we are likely to see more trailer swaps in the future. With the new HOS coming this summer there has been a lot of talk about companies staging more pre-loaded trailers. This will (in therey) keep the trucks rolling more efficently.

sarge26044, sewerman and jxu417 Thank this.

I don't see hours of service dictating anymore swaps in the future. Maybe on the door swinger side but not on the flatbed.
Not to be taken personally by anyone. I like to say well I got laid off from my last job and I get the state grant to go get a CDL license. And I will bring the same work ethics that got me laid off from my last job to my new career in trucking.

Come on people it's not that #### hard to keep your trailer and equipment in proper working order. If you find it that hard to keep your tarps and securement equipment and lumber in order. May I suggest a trailer with doors on the back of it.

Lol thanks. My current student has 6 or 7 cameos in it as well both in the classroom and the barn shots. Im going to butcher the spelling of Mavericks Digital Media Coordinator, Capyllia? (Run DMC, the handle I gave her), did a great job on the video and all the others she's made since coming to Maverick.

    jxu417 Thanks this.

You were close on the name. It's Capillya. I only know this from the email she sent me with a picture she took of me in front of my truck.

I have a question about uniforms. Are they just the Maverick long sleeve and short sleeve shirts? Or do they have the option of polo's? Thanks for any info.

There are no uniforms. Those drivers who are wearing maverick shirts paid for them.

They have a company store where you can buy many different types of shirts. Most have long sleeve though because many customers require long sleeves.
