Sewerman ~ Congrats and I am very proud of you!!! You would be a great instructor if you aren't already.

 

Do you think getting hung out on the weekends is worth it.. im thinking its not!

Its not if it keeps happening on a consistant basis in my opinion. It has only happened to me twice, once in RAT division about 2 months after I started and once in PLD in Pittsburgh due to poor load planning. Both times I was able to deal with it, but if it were to be happening to me on like a monthly basis, I would start thinking the same thing.

If i'm hung out on a 400 mile run and i'm gonna get 800 for it hence double pay, sure. If im hung out on a 750 mile run at least i'm starting a week out with fairly decent milage but definitely not as "worth it"

personally myself. I think it's never worth it. But this is the occupation that I chose and some time that's just the way it is. I wish I had some great words of wisdom on this subject. The only ones I can think of is what my dad would say that's trucking.
