nearly every Maverick truck i've seen this last week has been 07's, they must have run out of 12/13's and started putting 07's back in service.
those poor fellows...lol!JimTheHut Thanks this. -
Saw a 13 today. It was a TCD truck (wind jammer), pulling a flat.JimTheHut Thanks this.

Murphy was fighting me hard today. Last night picked up at Independence Tube in Marseilles (MAR-SAY) and Chicago both for a MI delivery this morning. Waited at the plant to have them tell me to deliver at another plant. Went to that plant and waited behind others that had just got there (my "r" call was already an hour and a half old at this point). Delivered and went to Mittal at Burns Harbor. I was the last load of the day. Went to scales and weighed 1700 lbs. too light. Went to a different dock because the other dock had just gone home. They didn't want to fix the screw up in coil weights. Eventually, they adjusted the BOL to match the coil on the truck. Perfect. No fuel in truck. Went to nearest Pilot. JB Hunt was having a convention in the McDonalds and parked in the fuel island. Another 45 minutes wasted. I really thought there was going to be a fight. Exit 274 I-80 fatal motorcycle crash. It appeared the motorcycle never knew what ran him over. Enough said. My condolences. Stupid me left my lumber strap loose and I ran it over at Mittal but didn't realize it until the dunnage was sticking out the side of the trailer. Secured it. Secured it again. And one more time for good measure before getting home with 15 minutes to spare. Somehow I still managed to squeeze in over 500 miles today. I'm tuckered out.

i saw one too, if not the same truck, I-75 just north of Knoxville Thursday, he was headed south.
looked odd -
at least you did not run over it and destroy it! -
I saw one on 55 North on Friday . . . and it did seem a bit strange.

Got that right. I may still move my dunnage to the deck and make big bulkhead out of it until I get a new strap. This isn't the first strap I've replaced. The last one didn't snap. I frayed it from dragging it on the ground for an undisclosed number of miles. I had all the dunnage on the surfboard that day. I just brain farted securing the strap.JimTheHut Thanks this.
