Sitting at the hotel in Laurinburg for glass training and I must say I'm not real happy. Went to class at 7:30 just to get a tour and 3 trip planning problems. We were let out at 9:00, tomorrow will be the same. I could have gone home this weekend, I don't like wasting time. I knew I should have had them move to flatbed before leaving NLR. At least I'd be on the trainer truck now if not back home.

Yap, that's the program. Classes don't start until Monday but I guess they feel obligated to keep you busy all weekend so they give you routeing exercises. Well at least you are getting paid. Classes in Laurenburg are very laid back so this upcoming week be easy. Just hang in there and maintain a positive attitude.

usually happens around holidays, they'll get behind over there, and it snowballs.

    Here's my southland experience.

Check in, pull into lot can't find my preload anywhere... Security drives around for 10 min then tells me, yeah its in the back behind the buildings, good luck getting to it. One hair pin turn between two buildings to find it sitting in the corner beside railroad... Dropped empty right there beside the track I was so frustrated... Guess the good part was I was so isolated I said the hell with the tarping machine... Haha I mean I drove straight over and used the tarping station ;)

Some of then are being used on the Home Depot dedicated account in Tennessee. Now they're needed in TCD so they're working out a way of getting them back to NLR to get detailed and given to TCD drivers. Home Depot drivers will be getting some day cabs. Since I'm switching divisions and already have a truck, I'm going to use my flat bed truck until they get TCD trucks back.
