Ok, well I took it as Maverick has it they just forgot to put it on the W/A. So when I sent my leaving shipper, I told them I needed it. Got rolling down the road and got a message that said I should have got it from the shipper. BTW, I hate play Q-comm tag when I'm trying to drive
Oh well, I guess I know now what they meant. Wouldn't it have been easier to just say 'GET UNLOADING NUMBER FROM SHIPPER'? Live and learn I guess

Ive never had to ask shipper for it. If it wasnt already on bills it was on the w/a. Thats differrnt. Where were you picking up?
-
sounds like your not ringing the right bells.
you won't make it long at trucking if that's all it takes to run you off. -
means that the number that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom of the instructions on the w/a needs to be written on the bills. The number is more often overlooked by drivers that dont read the entire w/a but is sometimes left off of the w/a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom. Always always always scroll all the way down to the bottom of the w/a to see if there is a del number/ po number/ whatever number. Made me look real stupid when i went to unload one time and they said i needed a del number, i didn't see one (u notice I took the blame there?), qcomed dispatch which goes to fm who emails csr, csr, responds to fm who responds to me its on the w/a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down at the bottom, i felt like a real arse but learned from that mistake.

My first week in TCD is over and went really well.
Monday morning I hooked to an empty trailer, set it for frozen and went over to Tennessee Pride in LR and picked up a load for a driver who needed it to get home.
He had picked up a load for me going to Manchester PA. We made our swap at the yard and I headed to PA. It had a Thursday 1400 delivery but I was able to drop it in a day early.
There weren't any empties so I bob tailed to Tootsie Roll in Hazleton and picked up a 2 dropper. The 1st was just up the road in Taylor PA and the final was back down in Harrisburg.
I got a broker load of dry freight through CHR that delivers in Arkadelphia AR Monday morning. That's am 1189 mile start to my week.
I'm home now until Monday morning then I'll probably get a load of chickens out of Pine Bluff after I deliver in Arkadelphia. -
Proof that "sheet" happens...I'm neck deep in it, LOL.
Didn't get my permits today, have a combine on here and can't go anywhere until sometime Monday.
