How do you drivers like autos over manual transmissions?

I'm just curious is all, that's one thing that kind of turned me off about maverick. I think it would take the whole trucking experience away. But I'm sure for some people it's a nice change from always shifting gears. I drive a manual vehicle and like it, I don't like it during rush hour traffic though.

What you dont like about manual in your vehicle will be the same in a manual truck. Ive driven the autos and once you get used to how it works and how to shift it manually (yes thats possible and a majority do that) then you wont miss your stick much. In rush hour they are awesome :)

Well that makes sense! I read that the autos are better on fuel then the manual. I mean I think it's pretty neat that maverick runs autos. I was just apprehensive at first, until I did some research on them.

The "Dixie" in Mclean,IL is now officially open for business again. They left the Dixie sign surprisingly and put the Pilot and Road Ranger signs below it. I like the new restrooms and showers but I miss the "truck wall" with the pictures of the many truckers and their trucks thru the years. Another piece of history fades away.
