For now....I'm sure Pilot will put in a Subway, Arbys, McDonalds or Dennys soon. I used to like Subway, now I can't even stand the smell of it most the time.

Ok, my turn to rant.......
So, I loaded in El Dorado, AR on Wednesday afternoon. On the way down, got a beep about asking if I would be willing to do a load swap. My load delivered in Scottsboro, AL on Thursday or Friday 0630 to 1330. The other driver delivered in Columbus, OH on Friday 0600 to 1200. Figured I wouldn't make it to AL before 1330 on Thursday and OH is closer to home than AL. Fleet Managers said we could swap in NLR. I said ok....it was more miles for me too.
Did they swap on Thursday morning and I was honest with the driver about the condition of my tarps. Alot of patches, but otherwise in good condition. He said 'I'm one of those guys that doesn't care as long as the load is covered'.
That should have been a RED FLAG!
I was ready to go so I checked his securements and fixed some, also added some more because he had the bare minimum. Found two marker lights out on the trailer also. The load was getting close on time, so I figured I would get the lights fixed when I stopped for the night.
Delivered this morning in Columbus and got a W/A to pick up at AK Middletown. I had to waste some time because I was gonna be too early, but I figured I could still make it home tonight if all went well. It didn't.
Picked up a 48K lb coil that had to be loaded eye to the side.....Guess what......steel tarps were complete junk! One had a rip in it so bad that I couldn't even use it. The other one is full of holes and is missing half the D rings on the top row!

LOL they had a tilted kilt set up outside at Richmond NASCAR race. Had to drag hubby away and he doesn't even drink. Saw a lot of woman doing the same thing. More revealing than Hooters.

I understand your rant E,been there done that but dont list a truck number as it could get the next driver of that truck a lot of grief he doesnt deserve. I hope you notified dispatch so they can look into it and wont charge you for damaged unusable tarps.
