Maverick Driver general bs thread

Did you get anything this week? They told me if I got on the board Monday that I probably wouldn't get anything so just took the week off.

 

Nope. Emptied out Monday and got sent home. No calls to repower or swap either this week. Getting things done around the house and some deer hunting in.

 

Do you know if we can get on the board Friday?

 

Probably, but I doubt you would get anything. I've decided to just enjoy the hometime and hit it hard come Monday.

 

Yeah, going to have to hit it hard for the next few weeks... hopefully the freight is there to make that happen for everyone.

 

I'M HOME!!!!

I talked Extended Services into finding someone to re-power my load. Ended up there was a driver in Conway who wanted to work and was due to come back out after home time but they didn't have anything for him. I pulled through the gate with 12 minutes left on my clock after starting out this morning in Dublin GA. If I had kept the load I would have only picked up a total of 4 hours the next 2 days.

Extended said there aren't any loads out of Arkansas for either division tomorrow.

My wife and I both have doctors appointments the next couple of days. She's out of some medicines she can only get refilled after visiting the doctor and since she isn't supposed to drive, she can only go when I'm home. Since both of us go mostly to specialist, we have to make our appointment sometimes months in advance. With my health issues I have to start getting things ready for my yearly DOT Physical a couple of months prior to it. In January I have to have a new stress test.

Whaaaaa! My Kindle Fire is broken so I won't be able to get on the internet from the truck for a while. The good thing is it's still under warranty so they're sending me a new one but I'll be gone again before it gets here.

 

Anyone in here drive for Maverick in the Chattanooga TN area or close by that?
