    Neither is regular home time. We get 1 day off for each week we're out. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow then I'll be back out Thursday. I'll probably be out until Christmas. In TCD we have to request our home time via Qcomm.

    No..flat bedders are generally home more than we are. TCD is the smallest division but we're growing. Flat bed freight rarely gets loaded or unloaded on week ends. Refrigerated freight can pick up and deliver anytime. We have more JIT loads than they do because our freight generally moves on quicker towards the consumer once we deliver it.

    Sigh,had to report unsafe driver this morning. Hate that! I rarely report violations of policy but something safety related I do. Driver hauled shiny bar with no bulkhead. That is prettty unsafe. That stuff moves even with a bulkhead in a hard braking situation but no bulkhead and it will be in your truck! He had other issues as well but nothing unsafe,just sloppy work. I guess some just dont care. Me,I try to look good and do it right so Im safe and the customer is happy meaning more loads for us instead of the next guy!

    Thanks for doing it Dan. We need to keep our good reputation, and we have a responsibility to everyone on the roads to make sure we operate as safely as humanly possible. I am glad you did it.

    Yesterday, Friday 11/30/2012 was my one year anniversary with Maverick Transportation. My how time flies when you start out on the road....
