Per dIem is $59 a day not tax able money5 days a week it is worth it in my opinion. Its does not change you cpm. You will get more money back on your net pay. The fuel bonus is good too. You have to figure your mpg from all your tanks and get the average then see how much the pay is for the average . 7.0 is 0.150 cents so you will Times that on however many miles you had that quarter.weekend pay is if you get hung out they will give you 800 miles only if you delivered on time that Monday or if the trip you sitting on is less than 800 miles.

No worries man. I appreciate any and and all the info. That's not bad there. I also have a family of 4 and that hit the nail on the head.
-
Thanks man I appreciate it. That gives me an idea of how it all works. I'm sure I will come up with more ?'s as time goes on. Thanks again.

That's me right now. Picked up my first Maverick load yesterday (actually, my first flatbed load ever). It sounded like it'd be easy to my noob self. 40 foot steel plank thingies. I'm ashamed to admit how long it took me to secure the load and throw 5 tarps and about billion bungies.
It killed my drive time. Didn't get anywhere near the miles I needed to drive. I sent a Macro 04 updating my ETA to about 3 hours late. Still waiting on the "wth???" message, but so far there's been no reply.
If any of you Tom Slick types can figure out how to bottle your speed, I'll pay top dollar. -
Lemme guess, steel channel out of ameristeel?

Waitin to load at Atchison Pipe. Side note, the new bridge is done. Another side note, use your freakin canvas tarps drivers!! Those tarps cost lots of money!
sewerman Thanks this. -
Survey says... Ding! Ding! Ding! We have a winner!
You nailed it sir.

Took me 45 min this morning to fold my two steel and two canvas. And install. Speeding up a little bit

This is why you should do it right! The flatbed who lost his load is lookin at jail time. Unfortunately this was all preventable. Even after the first flatbed lost his load. These trucks were traveling too fast for conditions! Be safe everyone and let these images burn into your head, maybe it will make you think before taking shortcuts.

I'd kill for that kind of speed. To break down/put away 5 tarps, 6 chains, 6 binders, 6 timbers, 12 edge protectors and 51 bungees took me 2 hours.

Not sure how it took so long. Sad thing is, it didn't seem like that long while I was doing it. Think I've finally found something I'm absolutely terrible at.
EDIT: Was actually a little less than 2 hours as I sat here for awhile before the guard came up and asked me why I was just sitting here instead of breaking everything down. I guess the magic untarping/breakdown gnomes are on strike.
