We hardly see a terminal either. We have 1 tire at home since we carried it around for almost 3 months. Hubby got tired of messing with it. What do we do if we have a flat? Hope that question doesn't jinx us. One would have been bad enough. I say so what if the trailer was fully loaded and no room. Now we have to worry about a full trailer. Not out of the ballpark for us to get a couple lumber loads that totally take up every square inch of trailer space.

Usually when I get a flat I have a lumber load. I just tell breakdown to take it...

Strap the bad tire to the belly of your trailer. Its out of the way. The Black and Chrome outfit taught me that one.

Don't strap it to the hood either!
Blind Dog Thanks this. -
How would Maverick feel about dropping the 2 tires off at a T/A and charging it to the FM that told the driver to leave both of them? I bet the FM might not do it again LOL
-
Last time i had two tires to haul around i told my fm i needed to get by a terminal asap to drop them off so it dont interfere with future loads. I usually get by within a day or two then.

The one thing that I really talked up about Maverick was the fuel bonus. Well another good Mav policy is being replaced by a schneider policy yet again. Things are a changin and mostly not for the better of the driver.

They take the bonus away and this truck will be doing the speed limit at all times....I figured it was only a matter of time before they change it because all the trucks get good mileage. I thought they would just up the minimum though.....what'd you hear? Do tell!
