Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

And 3 days after you go solo, they'll announce that they figured out how to make semi trucks drive themselves
jxu417 Thanks this. -
ROFLMAO!! SNORT!! HAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!! There went the drink thru my nose LOL!!!
-
Yep, that would be the "story" of my life.....
Just a disclaimer: try not to take me too seriously, I'm actually very sarcastic and I hope Maverick is ok with that..... -
Be careful when you go to orientation. If you attempt to start a Sarcasm contest, you will lose miserably and will be humiliated indefinitely. Those instructors up there have a black belt in that particular field
-
In other words I'll fit in just fine! lol
-
Yeah. As long as you have a good attitude and remain respectful (don't cross the line of bad taste) you'll do just fine. And don't take it too personally when they screw with you, that's one of the perks of being an instructor. They'll have their fun with you

It actually takes a lot before I take things personally. I generally have a good sense when I know someone is messing with me and that doesn't ever bother me. I have thick skin and can take it and give it. I generally always remain respectful. For the most part I am there to learn a job and if the instructors can make it fun while doing that, then that's a plus in my book.

Alright guys, been a long week but week one at the TN Truck Driving School is complete. Tested today at the DMV and now have my CDL permit, just two more weeks and I should be on track for my CDL. I did say I'd post some info about the school so here goes. Very laid back group, nice facility and small classes. Only 8 students per class makes it a pretty good setting, Tuition is $4000 and can be paid in monthly payments with a $1,000 down-no credit check. It's a family business and you are basically treated like family.
There is a Value Place (extended stay) across the street that you can stay at for $220 a week if not from the Knoxville area or within driving distance each day. The days are 12 hour days and full of info and TEST!!!...
But at the end of the week it's worth it, just study the TN CDL manual and you'll be good. To top of my day I got my letter of acceptance from Maverick!!! As soon as the CDL is in hand I can be scheduled for orientation. I want to personally thank CaptianX3 for the information he's passed along and tips about Maverick. From day one I knew there was something that made them stand out.

You're quite welcome and I'm glad to see you're doing well. I hope I get to run into you at the terminal at some point!BDJ Thanks this.
