I am getting ready to leave for Little Rock right now. I got the call yesterday. No point in sitting around for a week... I've done quite enough of that since September. I'm excited to get going! I'm sure I'll catch up to some of you guys soon.

 

I'm keeping my skateboard. Didn't like pulling reefers back in the 80's haven't changed my mind. Miles have been good though hometime is suffering. Gotta make hay when the sunshine I guess.

 

I figured you would jump at the chance to be a chicken hauler... dead or alive...

I realize this is a new division for Mav, but does anyone know if the Reefer division will take on students to be trained?

I do not know why they would not.

 

Will most likely offer it to Maverick drivers first. Probably those with a year with the company. Not certain, just my thinking. I have a student ready for pickup at the Little Rock yard and will stop by recruiting to check. I dont have a laptop, but will try to pop in next time I get home. I'm sure if u call recruiting, they'll be happy to answer your ?s

 

a few students put in for Reefer when we were still in training a couple weeks ago.

 

Did Maverick buy out some reefer outfit, or are they starting this from scratch?

If anybody has the inside scoop on the new Reefer side, would appreciate any info..... Thanks in advance!
