Nope...they bought a company, but I forget the name of it (it was on the QC message they sent to drivers)
EDIT: I remembered it (I think)...Crossover Trucking. -
Hmm. I thought that was just them saying they were diversifying but now that you say it that may be possible. I just moved back to tennessee last month and threw my hat in the ring. The only thing Joe wanted to know was how close I was to the Union city plant. He seemed pleased to learn I would take a 4cent pay decrease! That stinks but want to try reefer. I've been running flats since 03 and just want to change it up a bit.
LOL Hey Notarps. I think I will change my handle to NoTarps II.
What do you think brother? -
Union city is stone throw away. Will buy you a cup
.... nixt...there is only 1 legend... gotta get your own credentials....
-
Boy, that doesn't sound appealing... kinda like drag queen truckin...
-
LMAO...my Dad said the same thing.
-
So do they have a prereq of having to live somewheres close to the Tyson places or ???
Just wonder if they told you the details?
-
i just talked to the recruiter and inorder to run their reefer you have to have 1 year experience. so us new guys or out of the question
Fooman Thanks this. -
Well maybe it will change at some point to take recent grads.... there is always hope!
-
well in my opinion i think reefer would be easier to train students on than flatbed. but i think its just because its new to maverick and if they are going to succeed with it they will need experience to get it startedbeezer, Fooman and The Challenger Thank this.
