That's the way it should be. They should reset every 20 minutes. (Which sucks) Unless I am wrong, but I know more drivers that had to watch for the light to pop back on so they could shut it off again than not.

No tarps, you are a true professional and a smart one for not trashing the company or any that you've ever worked for. Why burn bridges that you may have to cross again someday right? I'm horrible with names so always ask the drivers i help or that help me, their handles. Dont know if your handle was "notarps" but if we helped each other loading/unloading, I'm glad we met. If not, I'm sorry we didn't. Be safe.

so true. I think some people complain just to hear themselves talk or to seek agreement. On tarping in the winter--coldest day in Iowa history. "U can tarp in our "tarping shed" tarping shed= roof+2sides, # nite, -10, -40 with the wind chill. still have pics of frozen mustache complete with purple skin around my mouth and on my cheeks. 1st winter with maverick. lesson learned. bought skimask next truckstop
in the rain--florida downpour. best midweek shower ever.
in the heat--saw a guy go through 3 shirts b4 he told me he's ok now cause he stopped sweating. told him about heat exhaustion/stroke
in the wind--patching a steel tarp once when wind wrapped me up in the tarp like a tamale. laughed my way outta that one too

try to keep your glass half full. life's easier that way. be safe

new trucks have apus. autoswitch is a good decoration on the paddle you use to shift when driving in manual. better mpg that way bc in manual u can shift at a lower RPM. In automatic, rpms are alot higher when it shifts. better mpg and bigger fuel bonus in manual. Maverick will be there. be safe

u mean u didn't get the deep cup holder model fr8liner?. lol. i put a koozie on the bottom of mine after it took a perfect dive into my boot. Maxwell House, good to the last drop. Yep, I secretly replaced my normal steeltoe with folgers crystals. 32 oz Pilot mug fits nice and snug now. and the moonshine revenues mustve come in. fixing the bumpies on 65 now.

Thanks! I will burn them if they deserve being burnt. That way I won't make the same mistake twice. Mav was not a problem tho. There was some issues, but no co is perfect. They did me right I wanted to return the favor. Even after I turned in a notice I was treated well. They even paid for my ride home.
Yeah, my handle is notarps. I have helped a lot of mav's tarp and have had a lot of them help me. We might have crossed paths before.
I am getting ready to go back out so we will probably cross paths somewhere. The gig I just quit I was hollering at mav's on the radio to see if I knew them and would walk up to them in truck stops, but the ones I met I did not know.
Sarge was you army or marines? I was a SGT in the army.
