I asked this question in another thread, but alas..no response. In Maverick's US division (out 12> days) how far out West does Maverick operate and send their drivers? I know when I do start, I would like to go all Lower 48 amap. I have no wife/children to worry about for home time.

they try to match students with instructors that live near each other so when the instructor gets home, so does the student. otherwise the student stays in a hotel near where the instructor parks the truck. The instructor has to find a hotel that will accept direct billing and provide the students with laundry facilities and have food within walking distance from the hotel.
Once again, they try to do the forementioned but if a student is going to be waiting for a while for an instructor to pick them up, they will be assigned to someone else.
good hygene is important out on the road and keeping the truck as clean as possible is a must, its where you live for at least 5 days at a time. lolFlatbedder 1966 Thanks this. -
shouldn't take too long. it all depends how many students they have scheduled for orientation as far as when they bring you in to North little rock for orientation. Yes there are driver trainers in tennessee.

They do; or did run CA, but not often. Your welcome.

Long haul and glass division out for two weeks at a time. US division's territory is anywhere east of interstate 35 but sometime's you might go a bit past there. US div does not carry tire chains so we dont go west of the rockies.
No matter what division you are in, if a driver has no reason to go home or just wants to stay out over the weekend, all they have to do is send a message via qcom to their fleet manager by wednesday if not earlier stating such so that can be passed on to the csrs (customer service reps). At Maverick, the csrs dispatch the loads, the fleet managers manage a fleet of drivers and do not assign the loads to the trucks.Buckeye 'bedder Thanks this. -

You need to learn better time management or trying napping when your wife isn't home. Maybe you will solve those diaper issues that you have to keep dealing with....
