Maverick Transportation

There is a map on one of these threads that shows their hiring area or you can go to their website, theres a map on there also. I know they hire in new york but I don't know how much of the state is covered on the map.

 

I did take a look at the map and noticed NY wasn't highlighted at all.

I wasn't sure how flexible they are with this. I am going to give them a call Monday morning and have a talk with someone.

If not then its off to try Boyd. I just received my cdl and was looking to go into flatebed or tankers but there are not a lot of comapnies that will offer the training.

Oh and for some reason I was rejected by TMC, recruiter didn't show why.

 

I will be getting my CDL in 3 weeks and I am already prehired with Maverick. They said I would get on about one week after getting my CDL on my own. My question is...after going out with trainer....when they give you your own truck....do they give you a few days at home to get truck loaded with on the road supplies ? Once my truck is loaded, I really dont care how long I'm out but I do not plan on buying everything out on the road. I have most everything including tools ready in a corner of my garage.

 

Sorry I could have swore they did.

 

If I remember right I loaded at the rock where you get your truck and the load took me by the house for my hometime.

 

Hey notarps sent my app in this past week. Can't wait. I have my class b with air brakes do u know if I will have to take the general knowledge and air brakes tests over again or not?

 

I had a Class A already, you will need a Class A ;so I am sure you will.
