I picked my truck up at the terminal in little rock for a while I thought they where going to send me to Geary Indiana to pick up my truck but they had one the next day in little rock so they kept me here. They sent me on my first load to Memphis the following day so they gave me a day to set up my truck. I live here in little rock I don't know how that works when you don't live by a terminal.
As far a division goes they will send you where ever they need you mostly the division is what they base how many days they keep you out before they send you home.Don't think that the division means you will never go to certain places cause it doesn't work that way.The only division that stays out longer then 6 days is the long-haul division and the one guy I know who works that division gets home as much as I do.
They are pretty good about getting you home on the weekend but at some point you will get hung out.
When they say you get home on weekends that may mean you get home long enough to do a restart or you may get home on Friday at noon and not go out till Monday you just never know.As far as the serpentine goes did one at school didn't have to do one for maverick.Hope that helps later![]()

1)How many drivers they hiring a month ? With a 6-8 week waiting period, they must be putting out alot of drivers.
2) Do you keep the same trailer most of the time ? I would think it would help a guy out knowing his trailer and the shape its in.
3) Did I read somewhere steel toe boots are required ? Does Maverick reemburse or furnish a pair a year ?
4 ) Tell me with the new trucks and all the modern equip. that they do have CD players instead of cassett ?
5 ) Does Maverick pay for truck washes and if so how often ?
6 ) And last one for this time....are they wired at all for tvs/microwave or can you have small invertors that plug into lighter ? I read the other post about the larger invertors that cost a few hundred to have hooked up.
Thanks. -
Just PMed you.

Thanks for the info Daytona45. Any other info or advice you can give me I would appreciate it. I have decided on Maverick quite awhile ago. My instructors are trying to tell me that I should consider TMC...but I am pretty hooked on Maverick. I am not a ship jumper. I am 52 and only had 5 different employers in my lifetime. 3 of those had to close their doors to get me to leave. So I am really looking for someone I will stay with for the next 10yrs or so. I have not heard anything bad about Maverick....so Maverick it is.

All I have is my class b with airbrakes, so I will be going to Newport. I sent my app in this past tuesday. I live up here in Monett,MO, 30 minutes from Ark border so I'd say they have it by now. I called the recruiter last week and she told me to hurry up and get my app in so I could get on the list. Just waiting to hear something now! What's the school like?
