@Lisa, orientation is in N. Little Rock, AR Maverick National HQ. Orientation is just under a week long. I think the TCD "Training class" is a few hours long for a day after orientation. Then, you go out with a trainer for 3-4 weeks. Pretty cut and dry. PM some of the TCD Drivers on here like RickSt or ExHawkeye to see if they will share their current weekly mileage. It sounds as the the TCD guys are runnin' pretty hard right now.
As long as you have documentation from your doc saying you are cleared to go back to work it shouldn't be a problem.
I will run through a little bit of MD a few times per quarter on my way down to VA and will see our trucks buzzing thru the area. You would probably fall into the RAT Division (Regional Atlantic). Hometime is good for the RAT division. Most every weekend with the occasional weekend getting hung-out, but that is trucking. Trust the Recruiting Dept., unlike many companies, Maverick WILL shoot straight with you.
Thank you for the replies, but doesn't look like i'll be going to maverick after all. Turns out they have a never hire policy for any drug offense, even if it's marijuana and over 10 years old.
Hello everyone, I was wanting some info on teams for Maverick. First off, do they even have teams? If so how much do they pay? Secondly, if so do they have them for flatbed or just the new T.C. division? Thank you
Hi Mark, I was wondering was your drug offense expunged? I had one over 10 years ago, but it was immediately expunged (removed) from my record by the judge and by the Grace of God because I spent one night in jail for it.
