Yep, just don't get 100 logging points in 2 consecutive calendar months or the 200 plus logging violation points will turn into 2 safety points. Maverick also realizes for instance, they send you to customers with no on site parking without time to load secure tarp and find a safe haven in which to park, hence why if you should find yourself in a similar situation as described above, at the end of the day/night when you park at the nearest safe haven you should put that on your elog where you'd normally put "post trip inspection or p.t.i." and then ff a message that reads, " violated HOS to drive to nearest safe haven and park due to BLAH. please put me on the list." Should you happen to go over 100 points for the month, and were on "the list" it was not your fault you had to violate HOS to drive to nearest safe haven and those points would not be tallied toward your 100projump Thanks this.

Welcome to those thinking of and just arrived at , "The Rock" May or may not be routed there this week to see what Maverick is going to do about my current student who has no idea which way to turn the steering wheel when backing to get the truck and trailer to move the way it needs to go. This After his 9th day driving in the truck, hours of backing practice. Yes he has a CDL or he would not be on the truck. Yes he got ripped off by his CDL school. Yes I am willing (to a point) to teach him what he needs to do to learn how to back but he literally has to be told, "left, right, left, right, left..." in order to keep the truck in a fairly straight line when backing. Something that should have been taught to him in CDL school BEFORE he was given his license. 9 days of detailed documentation of what has happened since he came on the truck with me along with my recommendation to come back to Little Rock as well as me volunteering to be taken off the load board in order to spend an entire day teaching him how to back up without having to worry about time constraints of deliveries/ pickups, damage to company, customers property, or endangering the motoring public around him because he didn't keep to the outside of a curve which caused him to leave his lane of travel numerous times some with some without traffic trying to pass him. Re my "to a point" comment. I feel it is the CDL schools responsibility as well as the drivers responsibility to have some concept of how to back up a truck safely. Not mine. I'm the sharpening stone with which one may hone their skills, not the guy who's making the steel in the mill that someday maybe will be turned into a knife blade. The wheels on the truck don't turn, Maverick doesn't make a dime and neither do I. Not trying to make a mint but do have to pay the bills.
