kaydriver, i sent you a pm with my email. i have no laptop yet. just my phone with internet on it. too bad you aren't going to be there this weekend! maybe next weekend.

 

Well, I got the call from Paul at Maverick yesterday! I leave on the bus Friday & should be there at 10:40 am on Saturday. I am looking forward to this even though there is still some anxiety as to the orientation process. See some of you there.

 

Well Beanhauler Angie called me today and I report for oreintation on the 20th. So I wont make it when your there, but maybe I'll see you out there! I'm excited though, as well as nervous. I wish I had a laptop, They probably don't have a computer down there you could use. I'm still in shock I think, I've been waiting so long that I got used to just waiting and not hearing anything. Anyway I'm ready!

 

Hey Jim F; What did the guy who failed the road test do wrong? Was the truck a stick or auto. Thanks.

 

mailman, they drive automatics now. the guy that failed i beleive went the speed limit on the exit ramp when they want you to be 10 mph slower than the posted speed limit. i will be there also at 10:40 am saturday. see you there.

Mailman, Beanhauler, keep a positive attitude but stay low key. They look for poor attitudes, know it alls, that sort of thing.

As for the guy who failed the road test, he didn't slow enough on the ramp. They want 10 mph below the posted speed, and if not posted, then 20 mph. They will tell you all this in class, just pay attention.
