The thing with TMC is that it's a performance based scale, so it'll be a lot different for everybody depending on how they run. Just like on that tmc pay thread, Hsauer is making more right now on line haul than I did when I was on it. Could be rates, could be that he's just more efficient than me, or he could be a trainer. Who knows, but either way, it fluctuates a lot depending on you, the season, and economy too. Seems to be good now, but who knows about next year? I think our mileage only caps out at low 40's or so. Haven't checked in a while.

Top base pay for mileage is .41/mi then add a penny maybe if your qualify for a fuel bonus. I am in talks with another company right now considering leaving TMC because of the mileage pay. We took a pay cut (mileage based) when the trucks turned down to 62mph ( 33mi?day) in 2008 and have not seen a compensatory move yet. (65mph vs 62mph is a 5% cut).. they did a joke of a .01 raise last yr

I just started with Maverick. Pay for my division(USA-out 2 weeks at a time) starts at .35 per mile (loaded or empty), goes to .38 at 3 months, and .44 at 6 months. In addition there is a very reachable .06 per mile bonus that can be gotten after 3 months. So, after 6 months .50 with bonus included is very doable. Not bad I'd say and Maverick is a good company to work for and training is absolutely top notch.

Nope, it's the Long haul flatbed division. Glass division starts I think at .40 per mile and moves up to .48 per mile at 6 months. That division is also eligible for the .06 per mile bonus after 3 months. I've talked to several drivers and they all were consistently getting the full bonus amount.

That sounds too good to be true. Maybe they're trying to make up for the automatics?

I'm just trying to find excuses. That's some good pay right there.
