As with any company there are those who will not be happy no matter what company they work for. I'm sure there are other factors involved in your mentioned drivers crying when the crane operator dented his rub rail. perhaps he is crying because he now has to send in an accident macro via qualcom, take pictures of the damage done to his truck and wait for fleetnet to send someone out to repair the rubrail on his truck because of a crane operators mistake.

Alot of posts re the Little rock yard being full of empty trucks. Most of these were 04 + 05s. drivers were asked to trade them in for newer models.

Sarge I never drove for Maverick. However I drove for the VAN equilaent MILLIS. I had someone HIT ME at the Gary IN TA in the Spring of 1999 he bashed in the Cab Extension tore my chassis Fairings. WHILE I WAS TAKING A SHOWER. Millis tried to claim PREVENTABLE ACCIDENT on my DAC. How is an accident where I was not in the TRUCK preventable. They also tried to say I was hard on equipment since the POS Cat 3176 I was driving at 80K blew a turbo going to Eden NC and I had to limp it in to there. Then she decided to swallow a VALVE because the SHOP instead of having the TRUCK TOWED IN TOLD ME TO DRIVE IT TO CAT IN CHAROLETTE.

I requested my DAC right after I left there and was like I never had 3 accidents with them they tried to claim I had a rollover in CA 2 weeks before I EVEN HIRED ON WITH THEM. Then claimed I rearended someone in TX when I was in FL that week. The best one was saying I hit a tree in MI when I was in NC that day. I guess they were trying to pass off TRAINEE ACCIDENTS off on a driver that told his DISPATCHER WERE TO GO AND HOW FAST TO RIDE HIS BROOM THERE ALONG WITH THE MILLIS BROTHERS.

cant see how an accident that happened to your truck while u were not in it would be considered preventable. thats what it sounds like to me is trying to pass off other accidents to me but me being less than 2 years in the trucking industry, i am no expert. things like this in my opinion should be researched and removed from ones dac and if there is some form of tracking as to the person who put it on there, well that person who tarnished ones record should be held accountable

The only thing that I think that they could have tagged you for is if you parked in a no parking spot and someone hit you. That is the only way I think they could tag you with a preventable.

Hard to say Preventable considering I was sitting in a marked space 20 spots away from the shop waiting to get a TIRE replaced on the POS trailer that they had stuck me with in WI that I had to take to FL.

I'm really glad to be out of that industry. This is the second time in my life that getting fired has been an absolute Blessing, (come to think of it, it's the second time in my life to get fired at all).
I'm currently working for ODOT as a Transportation Tech. with a clean MVR (haz, doubl, trip, tanker - and of course, a dirty DAC) and seriously considering applying with OHP (allot to consider, love the current job but always wanted to do hy-po).
God Bless you drivers, you'll always have my respect. Stay safe out there.
