Found out last Friday it also works without the cruise. Was driving down 77 on my way to Cameron, TX when a pickup in front of me pulled to the shoulder to make a right turn (way in front of me) and as I approached I moved over slightly to give him room and the Onguard thingy started screeching at me and slammed the brakes. #### good thing the road was dry and I didn't have a load on the trailer. Since then I've had to start compensating for the stupidity of the computer, in addition to the carelessness of other drivers.

 

love those tarp stations when you have a trailer that off tracks either way.
