Max power for overhead cb hookup in prostar/lt

    Looking into running a 10 meter radio. Just wondering if anybody knows the max power the overhead cb power hookup is good for in an international LT/Prostar. Not looking to fry anything

    And yes it will be convertered. Just need to know max power/highest power you've ran using the green and white cables up top

    When u look in the fuse compartment, it should have a per amp fuse in there. Most are 10-15 amps. Dont know what wattage you can run off that, but u should be able to find something on line

    Im pretty sure that voltage x amps = watts

    Personally i would increase power wire ga (true awg 10 ga)and run direct to battery...Give that radio all it need when you ask..
    BUT thats just me..

    That shady ole cheap crap in these trucks use is junk..
