I had a foot in the door at Western Express when my recruiter called and told me the bad news: 313 PSP points (!).
243 were from my previous employer (broken down old truck that seemed to attract DOT Attention )
But i scored a log violation that resulted in a forced 10 hr shutdown. 23 pts tripled to 69. It was that that sunk me. Their hiring limit is 50...

The thing is it shows a pattern. If there is one. Don't have a pattern of getting "I don't do my job" inspections and you will be fine.

I can't find how many points I have.
    Single inspection

    250 over on drives
    No trailer Registration

I looked at the booklet but didn't see these two.

There are no points for these violations. These are usually just a monetary fine. Get your trailer registration and learn from your weight violation. Don't stress over it. Have a great day Driver!

What company do you work for. Hadn’t had a ticket in 7+ years and I finally get one and got fired the next day. Where could I apply without that psp scrutiny

Yeah. Now I have a total of 56 points. Any recommendations on where I need to apply that will accept my points

No you don't. Your company does, but the PSP doesn't actually have points. it's just a report of violations and wrecks.
It's the type of violations, not the total number of made up points that don't exist that matter.

No such thing as PSP points... Companies get CSA points, drivers get a list of inspections (both clean and those with Violations), and accidents on thier PSP Report, but no points are assigned to PSP.

I don't think they could have made it more convoluted if they tried.

Drivers dont get PSP points per se, but they are responsible for points they cause. So, there is a running tally of points caused but no actual points on a drivers record.

What does go on a record is moving violations. You get three of those and you are basically unhireable.
