I must have daddy issues then as the thought of getting naked and shaking my ### for money sounds very appealing.

I bet I would rake it in if I did that while I was in jail for log falsification. Captive audience and all that.

Hopefully they throw all the cellphone players in jail too, more customers=more money.

More importantly, how are you going to log it?

What are the lines on the jail log? On duty, off duty, and booty duty?

Ok, watched the video. Though the guys math doesn't quite add up and he doesn't account for things like fueling, pti's, 30 minute breaks etc. his point is something to think about. If you're with a company that can keep you running that way you can make more money doing what he says. Run all out, do a 34 and do it again.

Personally though, it's not for me. I like to start about the same time each day and changing my sleeping pattern the way he describes isn't something I would want to do. I'm sure it works for some but it would burn me out and lead to an early grave.

You're new at this game and I strongly recommend you think about your long term health. Proper meals, regular sleeping patterns and some exercise don't fit into his thinking.

10 hours thats it. Anything more goes on line 1. I dont like my logs looking like im lounging around day and night. As for the dot thugs. They get "everything you need to know is infront of you. I have nothing else to offer". That is tried and true..

I was speaking to another retired trucker about this issue. After we had a good laugh at all the prison and OOS jokes. This guy told me that he simply logged the location of his shaving kit. If he was in a Hotel he logged it as line 1. If however that shaving kit stayed in his sleeper he logged line 2. For almost 15 years this guy had a dedicated route from Dallas to LA. He said he lost count of the times his paperwork and logs were inspected at Banning and in Texas. Never had an issue with excessive line 2.

With this post I'm hijacking this thread. There have been several myths brought up in theses replies. This post is directed to you new drivers and you older drivers that give a darn. READ THIS ARTICLE VERY CAREFULLY! I am not kidding. You sit in a truck stop and listen to Mr supertrucker spin his stories and I guarantee you the story is either made up or embellished. The biggest problem is lots of these myths had a basis in fact. Take the Federal Marshal Myth. Many years before most of us were born truckers were having to have help clearing roads etc because of either hijackers or union thugs preventing "scabs" from delivering their freight. US Marshals under the orders of Federal Judges along with other Law Enforcement helped these loads get delivered. Today if you call a Marshal you will in most cases be told to hire an attorney. Another myth you will be confronted with is the ( Navy seal, Army Ranger - Green Beret) type. Of all the story tellers these are the most entertaining to listen too. I wish the admins of TTR would devote a forum just for myths. The woods are full of em!

One more thing. I don't care how much you want it to be true. There has been NO, NONE NADA State Scales investigated and/or shut down by Federal Marshals.
