Hey Bud, how's it going with your truck? I just picked one up myself, recently it had new EGR, CAT, TURBO. Did you ever come up with a fix for your issues? Would love to chat with you 1 on 1.. -
I am truly amazed at the people in this business. His last post was in this thread so I suspect he went bankrupt. Good call on buying the maxxforceBrettj3876 and fordconvert Thank this.

I understand your sentiment - I spent weeks reading on this and am well aware of what I am getting myself into. Factoring in the price, the condition of the truck, my purpose (not hauling anything), the maintenance history, it was the best option in the price range. Spending 2x the money on a truck with 2x the mileage would be just as much a gamble.
Just looking to see if he did any of the things he talked about, and what he might have to say a year laterrank Thanks this. -
I bet not. I'd take a 60 series with 1.2m on the clock over a mf with 100knightgunner and rank Thank this.

His MF chassis might make a nice glider LOLLast edited: May 6, 2018

1.2 on my N14 and just hit 1M on my S60. Wouldn't trade either for a brand new MF.Brettj3876 and rank Thank this.

Hi I am a having hell with 2012 prostar with maxforce 13. Wanted to do something different and purchased this truck 2 years ago and have spent $$$$$ since. Last 2 weeks , the driver took the truck To International Dealer because maintenance check engine light came on. Dealer ran codes and said egr harness was burnt out; parts $78.00 but cost $900.00 to repair. Drove the truck and 2 days later check stop engine light came on. Return truck to Dealer: report code needed egr coolers replaced- did that $4100 cost to repair. On a 300 mls run - stop engine light and depleted pressure; truck and trailer had to be towed back to shop... repair code : DCO filter burnt; repair cost $5100 include the $1200 to truck.
Picked truck up to drop load off- for there and stop engine lights on again. Does anyone have any suggestions. Driver is on the road and I am at my end with international dealership. I am about to take concerns to media as I believe ther are highhacking my truck. -
They are of bad design . Absolutely the worst thing you could have purchased. Get rid of truck , thankfully freight is strong so get another truck and move on .
