my exhaust manifold just cracked on a 2011 maxxforce 13 with the turbos off i have a little shaft play is there an updated turbo set up, are people switching to a big single or is it worth just having what i have rebuilt?

 

Any update to a single turbo is aftermarket aftertreatment deleting which is illegal and we don't get into that. There are no updated turbos. They do fail. You replace them with rebuilt. The manifolds do crack because original ones where very thin. New manifolds are thicker, but replacing it is a big job. Need to consider if the truck is worth keeping or not.

 

2012 International Prostar I just changed the egr valve and coolers and everything is working fine but the switch pack and the power mirrors do not work.
I have been struggling with this because I cannot find anything that was disconnected, or mis connected. the engine brake is flashing I think because ethe switch pack is not working. the sleeper dome light does not work also the cigarette lighters. I cannot use the engine brake regen or dump suspension because of the switch pack. The power windows work and locks.

 

Check for blown mega fuse at the firewall.
